Discovery Channel's full SHARK WEEK 2012 lineup includes:

AIR JAWS APOCALYPSE
Photographer, author and shark expert Chris Fallows and veteran natural history producer Jeff Kurr journey to Seal Island, South Africa in their quest to understand the area's sharks - and one beast in particular. Colossus is a massive 4.3-metre great white that dominates all other sharks in the area. Kurr and his team push the envelope even further with a new camera specially designed for the shoot, revealing new angles and new hair-raising encounters to get closer than ever to Colossus. And what they discover in this yearlong filming expedition is a true scientific breakthrough: dozens of great whites clustered in shallow water, feeding on smaller sharks and rays - with Colossus dominating the grounds and nearly eating the camera.

SHARK WEEK'S IMPOSSIBLE SHOT
A team of wildlife cameramen head to South Africa to try to capture a certain shot of a Great White Shark that no one has been able to get.

RIVER MONSTERS: "Deadliest Sharks and Rays"
An elite handful of fish are capable of living and thriving in both fresh and saltwater. Among these specialists are aggressive maneaters, venomous giants and a wickedly armed beast that hails from a bygone age. In this special edition of RIVER MONSTERS, biologist and extreme angler Jeremy Wade relives his thrilling encounters with some of these fearsome intruders that swim in from beyond the surf. Wade reveals how our understanding of these predators has shifted dramatically in recent years and answers pertinent questions about what draws these ocean-dwelling hunters into freshwater in the first place and how they are capable of crossing what is normally an impenetrable barrier.

WHEN FISH ATTACK 3
Aquatic animals have the advantage in their environment. And when humans enter - or try to take these creatures out of it - th
ey do so at great peril. WHEN FISH ATTACK offers an in-depth look at some of the most unexpected underwater encounters caught on camera, travelling the world to meet the people who have lived to tell these tales. With actual attack footage from the incident, CGI and expert analysis, discover how kissing a nurse shark leaves one man in trouble, while a baby great white bites the hand that feeds.

HOW JAWS CHANGED THE WORLD
There are very few movies that truly change the world - and in 1975, Jaws was one of them. Audiences stood in lines that wrapped entire city blocks to watch the blockbuster film. And the impact the movie had on the oceans and their inhabitants was as big as the audience it found - and just as surprising. In the aftermath of the film's release, great white sharks were vilified and killed, leading to their near-disappearance from the U.S. eastern seaboard. At the same time, public fascination with sharks led to a golden age of shark science and conservation efforts. From the importance of music scores to special effects, from natural history to human behaviour - careers were made and lives were altered with the feature film. In this two-hour special presentation, meet the people impacted by a single shark that changed the world.

MYTHBUSTERS' JAWSOME SHARK SPECIAL
In this new special, MYTHBUSTERS' Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman count down their top 25 shark myths of all time. The duo also take on new myths, show never-seen-before footage and reveal the #1 shark myth that will leave viewers stunned. Get ready to go back in the water as the MYTHBUSTERS' best shark moments are unleashed!

SHARKZILLA
Bigger than big, Discovery Channel wraps Shark Week 2012 by resurrecting the largest shark to ever swim in our oceans: the megalodon. The size of a humpback whale, these sharks were 16-metres long - almost the length of a city bus - and weighed 45,360 kilograms. But unlike a humpback, megalodons had 250 teeth, each 15-centimetres long, set in jaws almost two-metres wide and 2.5-metres tall. Watch as a crew comes together to replicate and build the largest (mechanical) shark ever to live on the planet. With massive hydraulic jaws that will snap shut with enough force to bite through a car, Discovery Channel enlisted the help of MYTHBUSTERS' Kari Byron, Grant Imahara and Tory Belleci to put these choppers to the test.

25 BEST BITES
For 25 years, we've been taking you deeper and deeper into the shark bite. The shark week film crew to get the greatest shark bite Holy Grail: the birdseye view of the Polaris breach. Right into the bite that can cut a full grown seal in HALF. As the crew works to get this bite, the host will countdown of Shark Week's most spectacular moments, all leading up to this Best Bites.
