Interning at Daily Planet
Daily Planet is Discovery Channel Canada's flagship science show and the only daily hour-long science TV show in the world (more on Daily Planet).

Daily Planet offers two to four-month (depending on the time of year), full-time, unpaid internships to Canadian students currently completing a journalism or radio/television program requiring credit at Discovery Channel Canada's Toronto studios. Science journalism is an asset.

Interns at Daily Planet are involved in much of the show's production process, with a concentration in the areas of researching and script-writing. That being said, Daily Planet interns gain experience in all aspects of the production of a daily 1 hr show.
