Blacktip sharks are powerful swimmers and can grow up to 6 feet long. They are found in tropical waters at shallow depths. The "blacktip" gets it's name from the brilliant black fins (which you may catch a glimpse of as they sometimes jump out of the water during feeding frenzies!).
