Producer’s Journal By: Sean McShane - In a few words, it’s one of the coolest experiences of my Daily Planet career so far! A story I’ve been chasing for over 2 years, and finally, this year, I get invited to tag along. A team of researchers from Ontario’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is heading deep into Algonquin Park. Their goal - get a better picture of the health of the park’s black bear population. Their plan - climb into their dens, and pull them out for measurements.
